Vacuum Chambers
Vacuum chambers simulate what a product would undergo in a space environment. Whether the product is for a space shuttle, satellite, or space rover, it has to be subjected to a litany of tests both for product approval and quality control. At Environment Associates, we can create the necessary vacuum environment required to test your item. We have several vacuum chambers that can simulate the conditions of space and space travel. These conditions include super-low vacuum levels at 1 x 10-7 Torr or lower. Also, temperature extremes of -300° to +300°F can be reproduced, in addition to the solar radiation levels that can be expected hundreds of miles above the Earth's surface. Our vacuum chambers can reproduce precise temperatures in addition to accurate humidity levels. We also sell and rent vacuum chambers in varying sizes through our EES sales department.
