Compression Testing

This test simulates the compressive or crushing load that packaging may experience while stacked in storage or stacked during shipment. A container is compressed, and deformation at various loads is recorded. Compressive stress and strain results are calculated and plotted and used to determine limits, yield points, yield strength and compressive strength. A compressive force of up to 500 lbs. can be accomplished.

The Compression Tester is also used to check your empty, outer container's maximum stacking strength in a Box Compression Test.
