Environment Associates can provide testing for solar panels with our flexible, standard and walk-in style chambers. Our testing can include IEC 61646 and IEC 61215 for all temperature ranges and performance cycles. We can perform the 1,000-hour/42-day test, included in IEC 61646, IEC 61215 and IEC 62108.

For the “Crystalline Silicon Terrestrial Photovoltaic (PV)” we provide thermal cycling, humidity freeze and damp heat testing services. We also provide the same testing services for the “Thin-Film Terrestrial Photovoltaic” for modules and additional required tests for modules and assemblies.

For individuals with specialized panel systems—with fixed or movement-restricted installations—that may incur vibration conditions or shock impacts, EA can measure the service conditions for your application and provide durability/vibration performance testing to resolve your overall product reliability. We have walk-in chambers that include the lighting system to create the sun load-simulated spectra during performance testing, and we can configure other specialized tests.

EA provides special services that may require specialized data acquisition and monitoring for the PV performance, which may include voltage, current and impedance measurements during testing.

For individuals with long-term duration testing requirements, we provide specific pricing advantages, which can include leasing services for your own in-house, over-capacity needs.
